I think it's lovely when the contestants are displaying variety from whatever background they come from to being "old" because the songs from the '60s week ARE old and have a unique sound we don't re-create often. I couldn't help noticing - because I'm a girl and these things don't just float by me - the slim band Jordin Sparks was wearing on her left ring finger. For example, if a teen contestant sings a song about being married but in love with someone else, he doesn't buy it since a teen wouldn't know what it's like to be married. As for Jordin's ring, being a girl myself, I noticed it too :) Perhaps it's a good luck charm, or a family heirloom kind of like the ring Sanjaya would wear on his thumb (it was his late grandpa's).
