Thank goodness they’ve released the official trailer for The Fantastic Four 2: Rise of the Silver Surfer. A week ago I saw a version on You Tube that was so very blurry, that obviously some guy took a video camera in a movie theater and filmed it. For the sake of not wanting to encourage such a practice (not to mention that the footage will hurt your eyes), I decided to wait until the trailer was released on the Internet.

I didn’t like the first Fantastic Four movie. It was so predictable, boring, with poor acting, and lots of gratuitous scenes of Jessica Alba running around in her underwear. The only thing I liked was well, Thing. I can’t believe they even made a second movie, but I suppose that the first one still made a lot of money, in spite of how bad it was.

Looking at this trailer, I’m not impressed. Yeah the chase scene between the Human Torch and Silver Surfer is kind of cool (and I’m sure it goes on for another 5 minutes in the actual movie), but…eh. I don’t know if I’m even going to bother watching this when it comes out. There are so many, many kickass movies coming out next year, I may not need to bother with this one. But we shall see.
