Leonardo DiCaprio was ROBBED! Robbed, I say! He was fantastic in The Departed! I don’t think it’s fair for Forest Whitaker to win for some movie that hasn’t even opened yet! Does that really make sense? And Cars beating Happy Feet? What the hell? Did none of the voters realize that Cars is a complete rip-off of Doc Hollywood?
On the other hand, I was pleased as punch to see Hugh Laurie win. Hooray for House! Laurie is so awesome as our lovable cranky doctor. Also, many congratulations to Jennifer Hudson for her Dreamgirls win. Somewhere, the Powers That Be from American Idol is thinking, “Dammit. We let her get away?”
Wow, Alec Baldwin is a real tool. Did anyone catch that sarcastic face he made when Ahnuld was onstage? I know that Baldwin is very political, but there’s a time and place for everything. Act like an adult, for pete’s sake.
Because of Sascha Baron Cohen’s very descriptive acceptance speech, I must now watch Borat.
So, what did you all think? Did your favorites win? Do you feel that someone else or some other show/movie should have won?

The only two that I can relate in that entire list was Grey’s Anatomy and Laurie in House….both of which I love!!!
Over a year later, are we any happier with this years results?
