Wow!

After my raving about the new Transformers movie trailer, I stumble across this.

Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez have teamed up again to create what’s possibly the most badass film EVER. Grindhouse is actually two separate horror films, directed by each director. Rodriguez directs Planet Terror, while Tarantino directs Death Proof.

Two full-length feature films back to back! It sounds cool and all, but that’s sure going to limit theater showings. Unless multiplexes play Grindhouse in seveal theaters, it would be showing at only half the time as a typical 2 hour movie.

I absolutely LOVE the trailer. It’s so freaking stylish, very bad 70’s action/horror style. Man, I love me some Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez. And OMG, the music that goes with it is perfect! Tarantino is a genius in picking the right music for his films. This is the “teaser trailer”? Hell, I can’t even imagine what the full trailer will look like!!!

I cracked up in the beginning when they flashed about 6 different titles from Tarantino and Rodriguez. “From the directors of Reservoir Dogs, Desperado, Pulp Fiction, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, and Sin City…” hell, it’s like their resume or something LOL.

Heh, looks like Kurt Russell is the next aging actor who needs a career face-lift.

I can’t normally stomach horror movies since I get queasy from all the disembowling and such, but I may have to make an exception for this.
