Sunshine Trailer
Published by Kaonashi January 18th, 2007 in Trailers.Danny Boyle, director of Trainspotting and 28 Days Later, has a new sci-fi thriller coming out called Sunshine.
Starring Michelle Yeoh, Mark Strong, Hiroyuki Sanada, Cillian Murphy, and Chris Evans, Sunshine takes place 50 years in the future. The sun is dying, thus threatening the Earth’s existence. A team of scientists is sent up to “reignite the sun”, as mentioned in the trailer. And how cool is it to have two Asian lead actors in a movie that doesn’t involve martial arts or Asian gangs?
It looks like a fun, cool sci-fi movie to watch. I can ‘t really gauge from the trailer how good it’ll really be, but you can’t go wrong from the guy who directed Trainspotting and 28 Days Later. At least visually, I expect Sunshine to be stunning.
