Transformers The Movie Trailer- Japanese Version

In the trailer a few scenes have been removed, mainly the begining shot of one of the protoforms coming down to Earth and a few others. However there are some new scenes added to the japanese trailer which are:

-Bumblebee’s face without Battle mode
-Rear shots of Skorponok
-Allspark/Energon Cube

I wonder why the subtle changes in the trailer. Why not just show the exact same trailer? I don’t see how those tiny changes make the trailer more appealing to Japanese audiences. I did get a kick out of Spielberg and Bay trying to speak Japanese with their awful accents
